Plymouth Village, a continuing care retirement / life plan community in Redlands, CA, has formed a new partnership with Consonus Healthcare to provide inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation and therapy services to its residents as well as local older adults.
“The Village, our health and rehab center, is not exclusive to individuals residing at Plymouth Village,” said Keith Kasin, executive director at Plymouth Village. “Given availability, short-term therapy stays may be coordinated following an elective surgery or an unexpected hospitalization.”
Under the terms of the partnership, Consonus will keep Plymouth Village’s existing staff and hire additional therapists, too. The community also will be incorporating new therapy and rehab equipment to enhance services.
Kasin said Plymouth Village chose Consonus because of its reputation and apparent ability to meet the CCRC’s needs. “They are truly focused on the needs and preferences of the residents and others here for short-term rehab,” he said. “When someone has a need, we want them to come to us because of our expertise. Consonus offers major tools in achieving that goal.”
Plymouth Village is owned and managed by American Baptist Homes of the West.
