Continuing Education Classes
Consonus Pharmacy is offering medication-related education to Medication Aides and Caregivers. Any facility staff are welcome to attend. Classes are FREE to all Consonus clients and a small fee for non-Consonus clients. Consonus Pharmacy is committed to ongoing educational programs that support staff care for residents and provide the best possible patient outcomes and efficiencies.

Restless Leg Syndrome (RLS): Causes, Symptoms, and Treatments

FreeConsultant Pharmacist Becky Mason teaches this class. RLS is a condition that can severely affect older adults. In this session you will learn about this disorder and the common signs and symptoms that lead to a diagnosis. There will be review of lifestyle changes that may provide relief for mild-moderate cases. Learn about the medications that are used to treat RLS and the cautions with use.
This 1.0-credit continuing education class is FREE to all Consonus clients. Anyone is welcome to join the class – Nurses, Administrators, Caregivers, Med Aides, etc. Only Oregon CMAs are eligible to earn CE credit for the course.
