Consonus Pharmacy is offering medication-related education to Medication Aides and Caregivers. Any facility staff are welcome to attend. Classes are FREE to all Consonus clients and a small fee for non-Consonus clients. Consonus Pharmacy is committed to ongoing educational programs that support staff care for residents and provide the best possible patient outcomes and efficiencies.

Documentation 101 and Medication Storage: Back to the Basics for Safety

Nurse Consultant William Paulus teaches this class. Have you heard the phrase, “If it wasn’t documented, it wasn’t done”? In long-term care there is a great deal of responsibility when it comes to documentation. It is the primary way to demonstrate what we did, for whom, when and with what effects. In this session, you will learn from a nurse the basics around documentation and medication storage, which are both essential components of a safe medication management system.
This 1.0-credit continuing education class is FREE to all Consonus clients. Anyone is welcome to join the class – Nurses, Administrators, Caregivers, Med Aides, etc. Oregon CMAs and Minnesota RNs and LPNs are eligible to earn CE credit for this course.
