This presentation aims to empower EVERY staff member with the knowledge and tools necessary to implement effective antimicrobial stewardship practices with a focus on UTI, MRSA and prevention of C.difficile infections. This session will cover the critical role of antimicrobial stewardship in preventing infections, reducing antibiotic resistance, and ensuring optimal resident outcomes in long-term care facilities. Led by a Board-Certified Geriatric Pharmacist, gain general knowledge of common antibiotic interactions and adverse reactions. Join the presentation and the nationwide movement to increase awareness of proper antibiotic use.
