Addressing Pain in Dementia: A Resident Centered Approach

Consultant Pharmacist Nate Hedin teaches this class. Dementia poses unique challenges in pain management due to communication barriers and altered pain perception. This session aims to provide attendees with practical, resident-centered strategies to effectively assess and treat pain in this vulnerable population using both pharmacological and non-pharmacological approaches.
This 1.0-credit continuing education class is FREE to all Consonus clients. Anyone is welcome to join the class – Nurses, Administrators, Caregivers, Med Aides, etc. Only Oregon CMAs are eligible to earn CE credit for the course.
