ABOUT ME
The world of pharmacy made an impact on Teri Ferreira at a very early age. Her father managed a drug store, and as small child she remembers admiring the way the pharmacist was always helping people—and of
course, her bright white lab coat.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from Washington State University, Teri gained extensive professional experience in both retail and long- term care pharmacy positions, including nine years as a consultant pharmacist. She also served as Director of Pharmacy and Retail Operations for The Everett Clinic, overseeing three pharmacy locations.
Teri joined Consonus in 2007 as General Manager of Washington Pharmacy Services. She was instrumental in leading the growth and success of the pharmacy and continued to provide leadership on a broader scale. She was promoted to Northwest Regional Director of Operations in 2018 and led the initiative to bring consistent standard processes across all Consonus pharmacies. Now as VP of Operations for the West Region, her responsibilities include the oversight of the four pharmacies located in our West Region including Washington, Oregon, California and Nevada.
Teri is engaged and influential in political advocacy efforts for the profession of pharmacy. Her involvement in the development of Washington state’s long-term care statute changes in 2015 led to her appointment to its Pharmacy Quality Assurance Commission, where she serves as Vice Chair. She is a past president of the Washington State Pharmacy Association, and is actively involved with the Washington Health Care Association and Aging Services of Washington.
In her spare time, Teri enjoys gardening, reading historical fiction, attending sporting events, camping or traveling with her husband and family. She’s an active supporter of the Vital Life Foundation, and each year coordinates a gift-giving team of pharmacy colleagues that adopts the residents of a local skilled nursing facility. She contributes in her community through financial support and volunteering at the local food bank.
