Consonus Healthcare Services Hires New Sales Manager in California
Jim Shields is named California Sales Manager for Consonus Pharmacies

VACAVILLE, Calif. - Sept. 28, 2009 - Consonus Healthcare Services is proud to announce Jim Shields as the California Sales Manager for Consonus Pharmacies. Jim Shields was recently hired as the California Sales Manager for Consonus Pharmacies.  Jim comes to Consonus from his previous position at Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals (BIPI) as the Senior Care Account Manager for Northern California, Oregon, Washington and Idaho.  Jim has worked with Consonus since its inception in the western markets of Oregon, Washington and California.  In his previous position as Account Manager for BIPI, Jim was able to grow the territory by 350 percent in less than five years.  Now working as the California Sales Manager for Consonus, he looks forward to continued development with the company.

Jim has a long history of work within the pharmaceutical marketplace.  Prior to working with Boehringer Ingelheim, Jim was the senior Sales Representative of Northern California for Novartis and prior to that with TAP Pharmaceuticals in their Professional Sales category.

Jim and wife of sixteen years, Beth, are very active in their church and giving back to the community. In his free time, Jim can be found hitting balls on the golf course. The Shields have two kids, Breanne and Adam, along with three grandchildren.
